YouTube adds new options in YouTube Studio, enabling users to re-use information from previous uploads when uploading a new video within the posting process on desktop.
The new option enables you to re-use:
?Video title
?Video description
?Language settings
?Shorts sampling permissions
?Category selections
This could save you a lot of time, particularly for those who regularly post about the same topics, or have to manually input language options with each new post.
The updates are part of the platform’s ongoing effort to bring the desktop and mobile apps into parity, with all of the functionality eventually set to be accessible on the go.

LinkedIn Adds New Tools to ‘Creator Mode’ ?
LinkedIn has given access to LinkedIn Live for users with Creator Mode turned on, as well as a new newsletter option for creators. This was initially only available to Members and Pages with more than 150 followers and/or connections who met certain criteria.
Users are 20x more likely to interact with a video on LinkedIn than any other type of post making it a great way to increase engagement.
LinkedIn is also allowing Creator Mode users access to newsletters, providing another way for connections and followers to keep up to date with them.
“Whenever you publish a new article in your newsletter, your subscribers are automatically notified via push, in-app, and email notifications so they stay up to date with your latest content.”
This creates a great way for creators to keep up with consistent posting, boosting their presence on LinkedIn.
TikTok Tests New Option to Tag Other Profiles in Your Video Clips ✨
TikTok’s looking to boost engagement through a new video tagging feature. This would enable users to tag other profiles in your video.
This is rather than using the @mention option in the posts caption. Captions can now finally be free of mentions, whilst still alerting the user they’ve been tagged!
This option creates a more integrated way to tag other creators and/or profiles. This could help to promote both your own and other people’s profiles. Brands also benefit by having another way to boost engagement. It would alert top followers and creative partners to your latest uploads and clips.
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Stands Down ?
CEO and co-founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey has announced that he has resigned, effective immediately, with current CTO Parag Agrawal taking over the role.
The resignation comes as a surprise for some, following rising pressure from an activist investor group calling for him to resign. Dorsey seemed to be actively fighting for his position throughout this amid their questions over his leadership.
In the past year, $1 billion in Twitter shares were acquired by investment firm Elliott Management Corp. This move was in anticipation of gaining more power on the Twitter board. Ultimately, this move was to push out Dorsey, as they thought he wasn’t taking Twitter to its full potential.
The firm’s main issue with Dorsey was that Twitter would do better with a CEO only focused on improving the company’s performance. They perceived Dorsey as not being able to give as much focus as possible. This most likely comes from the fact Dorsey is also the CEO of rising payments provider Square.
This increased push is all part of Twitter’s growth plan, likely motivated by Elliott Management Corp.
What do you think of Dorsey stepping down and Elliot’s push for improvement?
