TikTok Adds New Resources For Families To Keep Users Safe

With the rise of TikTok users, it is more important than ever to keep the app safe for the younger generation with new resources.

As stated by TikTok: “Our goal is to make it easy for parents to understand how TikTok works and the tools they can use to create the best experience for their family”.

In order to do this, TikTok has been working on safety features for its Safety Centre. 

So What Will This New Safety Centre Provide? All You Need To Know About The New Resources

The updated Safety Center includes four additional elements. These consist of guides and video overviews explaining the tools and options available in the app to keep. The guides inform how it keeps its users safe and put their mind at ease.

These educational guides’ goal is to keep teenagers and their caregivers educated on digital safety.

  1. A New ‘Guardian’s Guide To Tiktok’ 

This new guide is designed to help parents and caregivers get a better understanding of the various safety tools available on the app.

Offering information to help people identify online bullying and links to resources.
