How TikTok Is Educating Its Users During COVID-19

TikTok, the platform known for novelty dance routines and comedy sketches has introduced #LearnOnTikTok.

#LearnOnTikTok has been created to encourage users to take some time during lockdown to educate themselves on a variety of different subjects.

The hashtag will cover a range of topics including wellness tips, exercise routines, how to sleep better and even dental hygiene.

The initiative is part of TikTok’s pledge to help the community during COVID-19.

The short-form video platform has dedicated a huge $250 million towards supporting individuals throughout lockdown, with $50 million going solely towards a brand new creative learning fund.

As explained by TikTok, its partnerships have been created with “over 800 public figures, media publishers, educational institutions, and real-world professional experts”.

Collaborations have also been made with notable figures like Tyra Banks and Bill Nye.

Alongside this, TikTok is also putting together a creator learning portal which educates users on the best way to use the app, with tips on how to level up your content creation game.

We think that it is great that TikTok is using its power as one of the most popular platforms of the moment to help the community during this confusing time.

We look forward to learning more than just how to make a Dalgona coffee and the moves to the latest viral dance routine.
