If you haven’t already seen the notification, Facebook has rolled out a new option for scheduling Instagram posts within it’s Creator Studio app this week.
Say goodbye to third-party scheduling tools as everything can now be done in the official app with no restrictions. However, the tool is only available if you have an Instagram business account linked to your Creator Studio.
The new feature allows you to preview what your posts will look like in a similar way to posting on a Facebook Page.
If you haven’t got that notification yet- don’t worry, the new feature has been rolling out to users over the past month and it’s highly likely you’ll have it soon.
Here’s how to use the new feature:
Go to your profile and click ‘Create Post’ which should be at the top the left of the screen. This will display the option of posting on your ‘Instagram Feed’ or ‘IGTV’.
Then, upload your image along with the caption and all the key Instagram post elements. At this stage, you are also able to upload multiple images which is not possible on most third-party tools.
Bonus- the image can be edited within the Creator Studio workflow.
When you’ve added in all your necessary bits- it’s ready to schedule. Click on the drop-down arrow to bring up the scheduling tool. This brings up the option for the date and time of when you want to post.
