The new section would essentially mean that users could showcase any services that they offer, which could be huge in the freelance game.

Whether you’re a hairdresser, social media specialist, accountant or something else, it means that potential clients, brands and recruiters will be able to track you down a lot more quickly and efficiently.

The feature was discovered by well-known social media code hacker, Jane Munchon Wong, who coincidentally also found a recent test on Instagram, which looked at Instagram hiding the ‘like’ count on posts. You can view more about this here

The leaked feature test comes as no surprise when considering the booming freelance community. There are currently more than 2 million freelancers in the UK and more 56 million in America.

As remote work becomes more viable, due to increased digital connectivity, the opportunities in this area will only increase.
