Social Republic At The Lancaster University Social Media Conference

On Tuesday 19th February, Social Republic CEO, Rob Illidge, spoke at the Lancaster University Social Media Conference.

Amongst other notable speakers, Rob discussed the development of our agency from launch to global agency, including how he was able to grow a network of over 400 freelancers and how the traditional agency is dying.

The conference was a huge success and has allowed Social Republic to create great connections with both students and staff at the University. It was great to hear a range of social media experts sharing their skills and knowledge of the industry.

Event organiser, Islay, commented:

“It was great to see so many social media experts on campus delivering sessions on such a range of topics to our students.

We hope that the students feel empowered to peruse their interests in social media.”

A huge thank you to all the team involved in creating the event.
